Instant exchanges through Trocador: USDT to ZEC

Requested at 18:31 UTC. L2Pass RFQ was refreshed at 18:28 UTC and returned 0.89444 ZEC from Tron. Trocador’s privacy rating (A to C here) reflects each exchange’s terms, privacy policy and refund practice when a user refuses verification. Trocador notes that any exchange can still pause a swap and ask for KYC or AML checks. Floating amounts are estimates and are re-priced when your deposit confirms; fixed amounts are locked.

What the numbers show

  • L2Pass RFQ returned the most ZEC for USDT from both networks, ahead of every instant exchange on Trocador. For 0.01 BTC, only MAYAChain’s raw protocol quote was higher, by 0.07%, before any app fee.
  • L2Pass Private beat several public routes. Even with the 0.3% fee, it returned more ZEC than ChangeNOW and MAYAChain for USDT on Ethereum.
  • Few cross-chain protocols support ZEC from Tron. Only L2Pass and LI.FI returned a quote, and LI.FI routed through NEAR Intents, the same network behind L2Pass RFQ, with its own fees on top. Instant exchanges cover the pair, at lower amounts.
  • Availability changes. THORChain had ZEC trading halted, and SideShift had the pair disabled, at the time of our quotes.

Which one to use

  • USDT to ZEC, from Tron or Ethereum: L2Pass RFQ returned the most.
  • BTC to ZEC: L2Pass RFQ returned more than every instant exchange. MAYAChain’s raw protocol quote was 0.07% higher before app fees.
  • Private execution: L2Pass Private, for 0.3% instead of 0.2%.

Things to know

  • Privacy is not anonymity. L2Pass Private limits what public blockchains show about how the swap is filled. Providers still receive your wallet address, and compliance screening applies.
  • Receiving address. Use a transparent Zcash address unless the quote accepts yours, then shield the ZEC in your wallet.
  • Compliance checks. If a provider flags a swap as high risk, it decides whether to complete, refund or hold it, and a refund is not guaranteed.
