Routes for swaps between USDT and ZEC
L2Pass RFQ and L2Pass Private both run on NEAR Intents, where solvers and market makers compete to fill your swap. Private executes it in a confidential environment instead of a public one.
No other routes (aggregators or other intent networks) were offered for USDT and ZEC in either direction in those test quotes.
Test quotes for 1,000 USDT on Tron to ZEC on October 10, 2026 showed these amounts received: 0.8151 ZEC on L2Pass RFQ and 0.8096 ZEC on L2Pass Private. The live quote shows current numbers for your pair and amount.
How to make a private ZEC swap
1
Open L2Pass Swap and choose the pair
Go to swap.l2pass.com. Choose USDT (on the network you hold it on) and ZEC (on Zcash) as source and destination, in either order, then enter the amount and the receiving address.
2
Select L2Pass Private
Select L2Pass Private and check its expected output, minimum received, estimated time and fees. If you do not need confidential execution, L2Pass RFQ carries an L2Pass fee of up to 0.2% instead.
3
Set a refund address
Set the refund address to a wallet you control on the chain you pay from (Zcash, or your USDT network). If the swap cannot complete, your deposit is returned there.
4
Pay to the deposit address
Send the amount shown in the quote to the one-time deposit address from any wallet or exchange, using the address or QR code. If you pay in USDT, you can also send it from your connected wallet. If you send from an exchange, check that the amount that arrives matches the quote, since some exchanges deduct their withdrawal fee from it.
5
Track the swap in Recent swaps
Follow the status in Recent swaps: Awaiting deposit, Deposit confirmed, then Complete.
Things to know
- Network fees. You pay gas only where you send from: ZEC on Zcash, or your USDT network’s native token, such as TRX on Tron. Any network fee on the destination chain is deducted from the amount shown.
- Refunds. If a swap cannot complete, your deposit is returned to the refund address; provider and network fees may be deducted.
- No partial fills. A swap completes in full or does not execute.
- Privacy and compliance. A private swap is not anonymity: your public wallet address is still included in requests sent to providers, and the same screening and sanctions controls apply. If a provider flags a swap as high risk, it decides whether to complete, refund or hold it, and a refund is not guaranteed.
