L2Pass Swap is a non-custodial interface: L2Pass never holds your tokens or private keys. Each swap is executed by a routing provider, such as NEAR Intents, Circle CCTP, USDT0, LI.FI or Relay, on that provider’s own contracts. You either sign a transaction in your own wallet or send tokens to a one-time deposit address created for your quote, and the amount you will receive, after all fees, is shown before you confirm. L2Pass has been live since 2023 and has served more than 650,000 wallets and over 4 million transactions.

How your funds move

What L2Pass does and does not do

L2Pass does:
  • Ask several routing providers for quotes and show them side by side.
  • Show every fee and the amount you will receive before you confirm.
  • Create the one-time deposit address for RFQ and Private quotes through NEAR Intents.
L2Pass does not:
  • Hold your tokens or private keys.
  • Need an account or KYC for regular use.
  • Override a provider’s AML or sanctions decision on a flagged swap.

L2Pass contracts

Swaps through third-party routes are executed by those providers’ own contracts. L2Pass uses its own router only for native USDT0 transfers. See Contracts for the addresses on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, HyperEVM and Tron.

How to stay safe

1

Use the official site

Open swap.l2pass.com directly or from docs.l2pass.com. Check the address bar before you connect a wallet or send funds.
2

Send only to the deposit address in your quote

The only address you send funds to is the one-time deposit address shown in the swap interface for your quote. L2Pass support never asks you to send funds anywhere else.
3

Set a refund address you control

For deposit-address routes, use a wallet you control on the source chain, not an exchange deposit address.
4

Check approvals

On wallet routes, read what your wallet asks you to approve. You can review and revoke token approvals in your wallet or a block explorer.

Things to know

  • Compliance checks. Providers run risk-based AML and sanctions checks. If a provider flags a swap as high risk, it decides whether to complete, refund or hold it, and a refund is not guaranteed.
  • Third-party risk. Each provider runs its own contracts and infrastructure. See the Terms of Service for how L2Pass handles third-party providers.
  • No partial fills. A swap completes in full or does not execute.
