# How to Bridge USDT to Plasma (USDT0)

> Bridge USDT to Plasma from Tron, Ethereum or Arbitrum with L2Pass Swap. USDT arrives as USDT0. Compare routes and see all fees before you confirm.

You can bridge USDT to Plasma from Tron, Ethereum or Arbitrum with [L2Pass Swap](https://swap.l2pass.com/), a non-custodial interface that shows every route for the pair side by side. On Plasma, USDT arrives as USDT0, the omnichain version of USDT. In test quotes on October 19, 2026, Tron to Plasma was offered by L2Pass RFQ and L2Pass Private in about 1.5 minutes, and Ethereum or Arbitrum to Plasma also by Relay and Aori in seconds. There is a 0% L2Pass fee on stablecoin swaps (up to 0.3% on private swaps), and every fee is already included in the amount you will receive, shown in the quote before you confirm.

## Routes to Plasma

L2Pass RFQ and L2Pass Private both run on [NEAR Intents](https://near.org/intents), where solvers and market makers compete to fill your swap. Private executes it in a confidential environment.

| Route | From | Estimated time | Output | Payment |
| :- | :- | :- | :- | :- |
| L2Pass RFQ | Tron, Ethereum, Arbitrum | About 1.5 minutes from Tron, 30 to 50 seconds from Ethereum or Arbitrum | Variable, with a minimum received | One-time deposit address |
| L2Pass Private | Tron, Ethereum, Arbitrum | Same as L2Pass RFQ | Variable, with a minimum received | One-time deposit address. L2Pass fee up to 0.3% |
| Relay | Ethereum, Arbitrum | About 1 second | Variable | Wallet transaction |
| Aori | Ethereum, Arbitrum | About 2 to 13 seconds | Fixed | Wallet transaction |

LI.FI was also offered from Ethereum. The quote lists any route that can fill your pair.

## How to bridge USDT to Plasma

**1. Open L2Pass Swap**

Go to [swap.l2pass.com](https://swap.l2pass.com/), choose USDT on Tron or Ethereum, or USDT0 on Arbitrum, as the source and USDT0 on Plasma as the destination. Enter the amount and set the Plasma address (an EVM address starting with 0x) that will receive the USDT0.

**2. Compare the routes**

Each route card shows the expected output, minimum received, estimated time and fees. Default slippage is 0.05% (editable) and does not apply to fixed-output routes such as Aori.

**3. Set a refund address**

For L2Pass RFQ and L2Pass Private, set the refund address to a wallet you control on the source chain. If the swap cannot complete, your deposit is returned there.

**4. Pay by wallet or deposit address**

On Relay and Aori, sign the transaction in your wallet. On L2Pass RFQ and L2Pass Private, send USDT to the one-time deposit address from your connected wallet, any wallet or an exchange, by address or QR code. If you send from an exchange, check that the amount that arrives matches the quote.

**5. Track the swap**

For L2Pass RFQ and L2Pass Private, follow the status in **Recent swaps**: *Awaiting deposit*, *Deposit confirmed*, then *Complete*.

## Things to know

* **USDT0 on Plasma.** L2Pass Swap offers USDT on Plasma as USDT0. Plasma's native token is XPL.
* **Gas on the source chain only.** You pay gas in TRX on Tron or in ETH on Ethereum and Arbitrum. The Plasma network fee is deducted from the amount shown, so you do not need XPL to receive.
* **Refunds.** On-chain routes revert (gas is not refundable). Deposit-address routes return your deposit to the refund address; provider and network fees may be deducted.
* **No partial fills.** A swap completes in full or does not execute.
* **Compliance checks.** No account or KYC is needed for regular use, though a provider may request extra checks for a specific transaction. If a provider flags a swap as high risk under AML or sanctions rules, it decides whether to complete, refund or hold it, and a refund is not guaranteed.
